The Capitol Representative steps up to draw the names. "ladies first." she says, and reaches around the reaping ball unitl she pulls out a slip of paper and slowly unfolds it. "the female tribute for district 11 is Caitlin Royam." suddenly i am walking up the steps and to the stage. suddnely, i realize, my sister died in the games last year, i will this year.i am fighting back tears as i am escorted to a room in the town hall to say goodbye to my family and friends. they close the door and i sit, waiting, my parents step in. they come over to me and give me a hug. we sit there until my mom says, "please win, caitlin, i can't lose both of my children to the games, i just can't." "i will" i reply. just then a guard comes in and tells them it's time for them to go. next comes Alaena fallow, a girl who's brother was in the games with sashae. we watched the games together and became friends. she says " take this bracelet as your token please. it was my brother's token." she smiles and exits the room. i wait for the next person to enter, but nobody does. then a guard informs me i will wait there until the train arrives.

"I am the reaper" says some guy. He pulls out a name. "I CHOOSE YOU! ICE F. LOWER!" And so I embark my brave and noble quest to train by eating Magic Mushrooms oops, I mean working out.

(Oh... I need to make my story-thingy? Okay I'll give it a shot)

I wake up one day and see the date on my calender. Oh great it's reaping day I thought. Luckily, since my father is the mayor, I have a very slim chance of being chose. I put on some clothes and go to the dining room for breakfast. "No. Just no. You have to look nice for reaping day". I walk back up and just toss on some nicer clothes over what I'm wearing right now. The day passes quickly until the time of the reaping. The person reaches into the basket, pulls out a name. "AND THE MALE CHILD FOR DISTRICT 9 IS... HERRIT DEM!". The next thing I know is I'm up on stage. Then I'm in the room at town hall where I say my goodbyes. The only person that comes is my father. He gives me a stone necklace without saying a word. Then he walks out. The train arrives for me to go to the training center and this, is where my adventure begins.

I like trains and then I leave. While on the train, someone says outside says that he likes trains. Unfortunately that was my father. The reason I say unfortunately is because:

Anyway, so my father dies and all. Plot excuses ftw. And so we get to the capitol. Actually it was a walk for me since I live right next to the capitol, but I read about my father's death in the paper. Actually it was an ad. One of those little 30x30 ads. They're trying to raise awareness of asdfmovie, not that anyone cares since they ended that 7 years ago.

And so I rewrite history and take the train!... For about 2 minutes. I went to my room, and the radio was set to news of the "I like trains" incident. I started to crank this, but the train conductor said that radios weren't invented yet. So I took out my Game Boy for the remaining 56 seconds. AND SO I ARRIVED AT THE F*CKIN' CAPITOL. There I somehow met my future alter-ego, a Game Maker hopefully. I like trains until Coolio gets online.

I wander around the area and find my room. Then I take a look around the rest of the area. After I have a good look around I head back to my room. It's a pretty nice area. Nicer than my house, at least. I sit down on the bed in there and sit back and think. Strategies, how to destroy the others. Planning on every possibility until I fall asleep....

On the train I find my room. It's small but very nice. I leave my mark by putting a small tear in the couch and take a rest. After my short rest I eat a small snack while thinking about the next events of the rest of my life. Training center, arena, death. Meh... Better than living in district 9 my whole life. All everybody cares about it hunting. I'm sick of all of that. By maybe all of that might pay off in the arena... Hmm...

I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to kill. Literally, if need be. I take another look around the room, and called back the strategies I planned out before I slept. I decide to learn more about the hunger games, so I can know a little what to expect. Not that I'm going to rely on anything I learn. No, I only rely on my own observations. Everyone else can be corrupted. Everyone has some weakness. So my job is to find them and exploit it, while recognizing my own and protecting them. I decide to do that first by asking around. I head over first to a room where I can watch the reaping. There's 2 people. A kid from district 12 and someone I remember seeing on TV as being chosen. I introduce myself and try to get to know as much about this person as possible.

I head to the room to watch the reapings. I see 2 other people in there having a conversation. I sit on the opposite side of the room listening closely to what they are talking about.

(Are we going to have to wait for everybody to sign up or is this just going to go straight to everything even though we don't have 24 people?)

(I don't think it's too late to join. Just sign up and give your story. Just read the OP for it to make sense because that is good enough. If you have any questions about the book just ask somebody who read it like me or Silverheart.)

Age: He's been around for so long nobody knows.
Looks: Not really like this, but the idea of wearing all black and the crest on my hood. Only my hands and feet are visible ever, and they seem to have a strange slight glow.
Personality: Keeps to himself, doesn't enjoy socialising but can get through in the toughest situation.

District: 6
District Token: Lunar crest. Brings light to any situation... in more than one way.
Bio: Suddenly appeared out of the shadows. Always seems to be alone finding solutions to common things.

I was just sitting alone in the shadows. I'd heard about the reapings many times before, but I've never actually see one. Suddenly, everyone starts running around town, searching for something. I decide to go see what's going on. Next thing I know they tell me I've been picked and I get sent off on a train unwillingly.
