If that doesn't work, grab your hat, extend pencil with broken ledge, and grapple to chains on fan.

You need the full version of Google Earth to do that. You also need a keyboard.

Use the grappling hook to pull the chain off and attach them to your current grappling hook to improve its length.. And grab the hat, No one likes a no-hatter

You cannot enter the FLIGHT SIMULATOR and the BROKEN LEDGE is incapable of extending the GRAPPLING HOOK. So, you put your HAT in your inventory and grapple the CHAINS. When you try to lift yourself to the FAN, you instead pull the CHAINS out of the LIGHT.

You look inside the CARDBOARD BOX and find a MYSTERIOUS MACHINE that seems like it would do something to your HAT.
The PENCIL'S TIP is too dull to cut though the STRING. You are going to need something sharper.
The PAINTING is a portrait of a person in a white room, who seems to be upside down, or maybe the painting is upside down. It's hard to tell because the room is so simple you can't tell up from down. A NAIL and STRING hold the PAINTING up on the WALL.

WEAR HAT. Take NAIL and STRING off of PAINTING. Use these to cut down KEY.

You are pretty sure you threw your HAT more like Oddjob this time, but it still seems like you still need that higher SHARPNESS ATTRIBUTE applied to your HAT.

With a flick of your wrist, you send your HAT toward the STRING holding up the PAINTING, cutting the PAINTING down from the WALL. The WALL behind where the PAINTING used to be has a 4 DIGIT CODE engraved into it. You then take the KEY and unlock the CHEST. Inside the CHEST you find an iPHONE.

I was gonna say: Combine RECTANGLE and PENCIL to make HAT SHAPE. Put HAT SHAPE in machine...

EDIT: Didn't see that ^, DIAL 1-800-230-HATS on IPHONE. ORDER NEW HAT. Because you can never have enough hats. Oh and maybe ask for help...
