Electric Vehicles

Vehicles that run on electricity.

Imma get one.

Some day.

Not because of the environment.

Forget that nub.

Because they accelerate like the wind.

And because they're the ninjas of the car world.

The people I run over will never see it coming.

Because EVs are silent like the night.

I'm going for a Chevy Volt because it has a gas generator after the battery runs down that lets you keep going for hundreds of miles. Most EVs are pure electric and die after maybe 80 miles. No good for people who want to make long trips.

And when you pull back on the turn signal light, it chirps at people. Good for alerting the people that you don't want to run over.

Assuming there are any.

Um, not as such, no.

At least, not without running people over.

And running red lights.

And running stop signs.

I blame it on my ADHD.

Which is why it's important to have a vehicle that either:

a. has a 5 star safety rating to protect me.

b. is fun enough to drive to keep me out of my head and focused on the road.

c. does one or more of the above.

The Volt chose C and so I'm choosing the Volt. Now I just need a job that pays double minimum wage and work for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, for a little over a year. EVs are just a little expensive. Hopefully another price drop occurs in the next year(s).
