The only difference between the US and the EU's regulations on white chocolate is that the EU has no limit on the amount of sweeteners. Since the amount of other stuff designated by the regulations makes up 62.5% and the US has a limit of 55% sweetener, that leaves little room for regulated difference between American and European white chocolate.
And they both suck.
