And 720p and 480 are upscaled as an attempt to make them look bad. If you display them in their native resolution and they'd look even more fine.

doesn't really matter if you're not going to be looking at those details. No important details are lost in 480p, just sharpness. 720 is nice.

144p = I think I need to start wearing glasses
240p = Blurry and muffled sound, but suitable for certain videos (not for reading small text)
360p = Decent, most text is readable, fine for music
480p = Not too bad on a fast internet day, somewhat slow
720p = I think I am wearing high-tech glasses at the cost of the internet going slow
1080p = Not much different than 720p, but slower
4k = Never tried it

240p = my computer is still probably screwing up, but this is okay i guess
360p = above
480p = my computer's running a little slow, so if i actually want to watch the video and not just tab out and leave it running, set it here
720p = default. my computer's having a normal day
1080p = i really want to watch this in high def and in theater mode
4k = overkill. i'm trying to ruin my computer.
