& <this one. The ampersand is really useful to me because I use it in php like &lt; and &gt; and &quot; and &apos;. That way I can use all my favorite symbols without screwing up my page.

The bass clef is a type of f clef. Treble clefs are g clefs. And then there are c clefs.

??? Last time I checked they play on a treble clef. Who knows, maybe it changed since I switched from alto to tenor a couple of months ago.

Treble and bass aren't clef types, they're specific positions of G and F clefs. Wherever the little almost circle in the treble clef is around, that line is a G. The line in between the two dots on the bass clef indicates an F, because it is an F clef. It's similar for a C clef.

Since when do percussionists have to play both? The only percussionists I can think of that would have to play bass is piano and timpani.
I thought they were all names, just different names of same clefs... G=Treble, F=Bass, C=Alto/Tenor...

No, different clefs with different names. 3 different types of clef, they have a different name depending on where they are in the staff. You could take a treble clef and move it 3 lines up to make some weird clef with a G where F would be on treble.

As of the modern day, only 3 types of clefs are used. The others are obsolete. the 3 clefs used today can be known by different names.
