If you don't know, mac upgrades their OS as fast as any software. It has X.X.X version numbers. My grandma's computer isn't that old. It still runs fast, and it's a lot younger than my big PC at home. But the newest version of FF you can get for it is 3.6.25. You can go higher, but FF doesn't host anything higher than 3.6.25 and nothing lower than FF 9. So here we are, stuck without a whole lotta CSS3, because she can't update her OS X without paying a lotta $$$. Software stops working if you don't update, and you can't update without paying twice as much money. With windows, you just keep running the software, a free update here and there, and you just keep opening the same programs.... and they keep working. They don't break because you didn't buy the next version of Windows. MACS ARE A SCAM. ....and then I noticed that if you spell macs backward it says scam. You type in Macs are... in google and the first three suggestions were "overpriced" "overrated" "overpriced and overrated". http://semsunday.com/2007/09/17/10-reas … overrated/ That sums it all up.

tl;dr: Macs were made to squeeze money out of people.

And sadly to say, The Browser That Will Not Be Named is actually ahead in some css3 stuff. So is opera.

Anyways, I've never had problems like that. And unless she has a REALLY old version, an upgrade is $30.

And another thing about macs: my grandma's makes this really high pitched buzzing. It only stops when scrolling, then starts again. It's high enough/quiet enough that my grandma wouldn't hear it, but it's really bugging me.

First 3 things:

macs are better than pcs (Macs are PCs)
macs are overpriced
macs are gay

The only reason people want to buy Macs is because they products are expensive. When the person gets the item, they think that it shows that they are better than people who don't have it, because they can't afford it (or are smart enough to refrain from buying a Mac)

WIndows/Linux however, is MUCH cheaper, and better. Just not as "fancy" as macs. Paying an extra $700 just for your computer to look slightly better is the stupidest thing one can do. Instead, use the $700 to upgrade your PC to play some decent games.

I heard a story about one guy, running linux, he overclocked his hard drive too much, and it shattered down the middle. He said he was actually able to get the thing to work afterward, but I dunno... shattering down the middle seems kinda final to me.

Remember a couple months back when I said we were getting iPads at school? Half the features have been taken off. And macs suck in general, imo. no good features supported (games, FLASH) all the douchebags i know have them, and they're overrated.

Don't forget the fact that is your PC breaks, you just replace the broken part but if your mac breaks, you have to get a whole new one.

iPod Touches are still awesome though, I just hate the macs.
