Got a new computer, been hopping distros

Right now I'm on a distro called Bodhi Linux that's pure eye candy.

It's an entire OS. One does simply not fabricate a beautiful OS out of thin air. It's about a 2GB download IIRC and would require you to at least slap it on a USB drive or CD and run the live version of it just to try it out.
