Being too good at something?

Can you be too good at something that it becomes a bad thing. I feel like I'm to rough and strong, people complain about my "rough" hand shakes, hugs, and taps..

I also feel like that I'm too kind that I don't stand up for my self enough and tell people that they're actually wrong about something.
