The shot of a cannon wakes me up.
(Imma kill Blissinged. Lemme type it up.)

Suddenly, a girl crawls into my cave and collapses on the floor. Another cannon fires. I examine her, and see terrible burns and deep gashes.
What could have caused this?
Only one thing comes to mind. Mutts.

(I caught 5. 1 sleeping, 2 were tame so they don't count, 1 I chased and caught, 1 was too young to run.)

I find some a stream here in the forest after a few hours, and I fill up my bottle in the lake and take a few drinks. Then I find a few big, flat, volcanic rocks and set up snares. As I'm setting up the last snare, I hear a branch snap. I see nothing, I hear nothing. I slowly pick up the rock I was using for my snare... and through it in the direction of the sound. Instead of hitting a tribute, I hit a now very ticked off wolf. It's kinda groggy now, so I pick up another rock from the last snare, the one with the sharpish edge, and hit the wolf again. It doesn't want to die does it? I decide to gtbo. I run away while picking up rocks and throwing them behind me at the wolf. After around half an hour of this the wolf is half dead and gives up on the gorgeous piece of meat that's throwing rocks at him.
I find a shallow cave-like thing in between 2 slabs of black volcanic rock. I check for any dangers, and slide in for the night. Throughout my dreams there is only one thing going through my head:

Youfindyourselfinaroom.

I wake up several times screaming, remember I'm being watched by all of Panem, and then yell at one of them that the Capitol did pretty good with the AI.

I wake up still half-asleep and thinking I'm still trapped in the room. All of a sudden the speakers in the area of forest near me all erupt in sound saying "YOU FIND YOURSELF IN A ROOM" in the computer's voice. After being curled up in a ball for 5 minutes I stand up and tell the cameras just exactly what I think of the Gamemaker who made the trap and the one who just did that on the speakers. I still haven't had any food yet, so I decide that's where to start. After draining the bottle of it's contents I refill and creep deeper into the forest of scorched black trees to search for food.

Finally, in the distance, I see a stream going around the edges of the arena. I make it to the stream and gulp up handfuls of water, avoiding the dark, swaying patches that I'm sure are some GM 'surprise'. I sit under a dead tree eating some bread, as I watch what looks like a wolf in the distance. Another figure tries to walk past it, but the wolf launches a stream of fire from its mouth, incinerating the tribute. I let out a small gasp. So that's what's stalking the arena. Fire-breathing wolf mutts.

The tribute, still half-alive, tries to stab it but falls, and I watch as the wolf snaps his neck. The cannon fires, the wolf stalks off, and the hovercraft descends to collect the body.
