I ride Fluffy in the direction of the arrow when I realize that it goes back to the lake.
"Never mind fluffy"
And we turn back to the tree

I hear a growl and reflexes shoot me up a tree. Not that high, about 5 yards, but when I look down there's a wolf there. Another one? Must be a mutt if they keep popping up. But what's so special about it... I have no rocks, being up a tree, but if I could snap a big branch above it I could probably trap it long enough to kill it.

after stomping for a good 20 minutes I feel the branch under me pass the barrier. It's going to fall on it's own now. I hop off and cling to the trunk while it falls. It hits a few branches on the way down, and hits the back leg of the wolf. I hear a snap, so it must've broken but the wolf can still chase me down on 3 legs, and it's dragged itself out of the way of any more branches. I'm stuck up here, but I have a full bottle of water, a little food, and I'm not bleeding with a broken leg. I sit down in a fork and think how to get out of this alive.

Suddenly, another wolf finds the tree, smelling the other wolf, and howls, fire coming from it's mouth.

another wolf walks along far beneath me. Must've been the other wolf's blood, because he's eating him. Mutt cannibalism. Wonderful. After finishing his meal he growls up at me and howls. The wolf belches out 6 feet of green flame. I sit down and factor in the new elements.

Bad: New wolf means still has a good leg. New wolf ate old wolf making even more blood. New wolf can breathe fire which means I need to stay out of range and may need to jump trees, which would be very dangerous. Wolf wants to eat me.

Good: I still have a full bottle of water. I can use it to douse the wolf's fire if I get it in the right spot. New wolf means he's right in range of any branches that decide to fall under my weight. I know what the Capitol added to the wolves now. The wolves will eat each other.

A twig snaps, and out comes 3 more hungry wolves, but after seeing the other one, attack it.

I watch the wolves circle around each other warily. They growl occasionally with a puff of smoke. More new elements. Well, I've got plenty of time. I'm sure as heck not going anywhere soon.

Bad: Even more wolves mean more danger. Very unlikely I'll be able to take the out with branches. Once I get one, the others will move. More fire. My water will do nothing against them now. This will certainly mean more blood.

Good: They might kill each other. I could wait until most or all of them are dead or near it, then kill them myself. I can keep my water. I have my shoes still. I am alive.

(If I may make a suggestion: Maybe add vines that trap and kill people, like Devil's Snare in the Sorcerer's Stone or the vines in the maze in Goblet of Fire? (The movies))
