My eyes are scorched by the brightness equivalent to a star.  Why is the green so bright?

Hard to read on a mac. (btw, did you know that colors don't look the same on mac as windows? Seems kinda stupid to me)

No, I don't think it's like that, but you may buy a sweater that looks one shade of red on the mac, you get it and it's a brighter red. While on windows you knew what you were getting because the site was designed for windows. Look it up on google. Mac Windows Color Difference
