Re: Spoiler Alert

Click the reveal spoiler button. Then watch the button fade out, and the hide spoiler button and the spoiler itself fade in. Now click the hide spoiler. IT'S SUCH A FREAKING SIMPLE SCRIPT WHY ISN'T IT WORKING HERE?!?

Re: Spoiler Alert

That's odd, now the link works fine for me. Of course, the error was a 5xx error, so that was a server sided error, not a client side, so most likely their server was just failing at the time.

I say Different55 is worthy.

Edit: I change my mind because of the error message I got after pressing the submit button.

Re: Spoiler Alert

You use:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.1/jquery.min.js"></script>

Why not use:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.4/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.js"></script>

Whatever error wasn't caused by me. I haven't been in the forum's PHP files in a week.
Ok, changed the Jquery files.

Re: Spoiler Alert

I'm gonna forget making my own and use one of the EXTREMELY HANDY SELF-INSTALLING EXTENSIONS THAT ONLY PUNBB HAS SUPPORT FOR.

Re: Spoiler Alert

a spoiler tag. All of PunBB's extensions since 1.3.X install themselves thanks to hooks, which also makes them easily disabled if one of them breaks your forum.

Re: Spoiler Alert

Nope. Nothing like them. In fluxbb, you have to go digging through your PHP files to go and place bits of code in them, then put a PHP file in your plugins folder. In PunBB, you place one folder in the extensions folder. The folder will contain a manifest.xml file that contains install/hook information that tells it where the code in the extension goes. Everything else all revolves around that manifest file.

You're thinking of mods. I'm talking about plugins.

@rob1nfly look up AspNetForum

Re: Spoiler Alert

@ratburntro44 PunBB only has extensions. They are both mods and plugins.

@coolio the spoiler right now is using jquery, which is still javascript.
