Mystery project

I'm writing a sci fi book, and want to give you a paragraph of the first page.. I also need names for the character.

Jason had always wanted to go bungee jumping. He had also always wanted to study computer viri. Today, Jason learned that bungee jumping is a bit more frightening without the bungee cord. he also found that you do NOT want to put a virus on the heart of an enormous robot

Re: Mystery project

FYI, the standard form is viruses. However, both are correct/

Character... Jason? That's the first name I can come up with after spending my time debugging a javascript based chatroom... JSON lol...

Re: Mystery project

he also found that you do NOT want to put a virus on a gigantic CPU.

Size of the CPU really doesn't matter... most CPUs are the same size. Replace gigantic CPU with something else. Server? Computer?

Re: Mystery project

2nd person is my favorite.  Has a better effect of putting you in the story.

Re: Mystery project

There's not too much you can do with 2nd person tho... It makes you feel like you have memory loss.

Ratburntro44 likes third person.

You like second person.

I like first person.

Re: Mystery project

Ratburntro44 doesn't like people referring to themselves in third person or pronouns. He does like hypocrisy, however.

I'm disappointed in Ratburntro44 for using first person from someone else's point of view.
