I'm sad

I'm in an online science class, and for a lab we have to experiment on a live goldfish. Which means I'm going to have to kill the goldfish. Why would they do that?

I thought you said online science class...? But then you have to kill a LIVE goldfish? 0.o

You got it good. I had to dissect a grasshopper 3 inches long. Most around here are about 1/2 inch.

I feel sorry for you. I just had to count the goldfish breathing. The killing isn't a required part, but my parents can't keep a goldfish.

My fish died. One ate all the others then grew white spots all over and died. Then all we had was an algae eater and he got sent off to a farm with plenty of food in the horse's water tank until he died of old age. My cat is living much longer than any of the fish and is much more fun than fish.

I used to have fish. Every time we bought another fish one of the others would die
