Yeah, I guess that would be faster, but I want to follow along the tutorial to see how it's done. Since I don't have school today, I think today would be a good day to start again.

And instead of messing around in files I might use MySQL. That way I can make it show only the last few messages instead of building up a massive html file.

Good idea. but, then again, when the MySql servers fail...

Anyway, I'm working on a button that clears the chatbox. Any idea how to do that? I think that would be easiest on my list to start with.
