As a child, I loved Toonami. It used to be on after school every day, with tons of awesome shows like One Piece, then later it moved to a longer block only on Saturdays, with other amazing shows. But after 11 years, with T.O.M, Sara, and even the Clydes, it came to an end on September 28, 2008.
Cut to last month, April Fools. T.O.M 3 and Sara were back for April Fools on adult swim in their anime block, with even a schedule like 2004's.
The next day, as tweeted this. "Want it back? Let us know. #BringBackToonami" The tag trended 3 times between then and now.
Now last Wenesday was adult swim's upfront. They announced Toonami coming back, the same time the April Fools joke was. So next week, 5/26/12, it comes back. Midnight that Saturday/Sunday.
So, in the words of T.O.M, "Stay gold. Bang."
