All evolutions can learn all water moves via TM/HM.

Any renames of moves act exactly the same as the original moves.

You sure? I remember watching a pokemon episode when i was smaller and slowpoke dipped its tail in the water to get a shelldon to attach to it. Something like that.

That's how it goes in the anime. In the games, it goes Slowpoke > Slowbro > Trade with Shellder > Slowking.

No, slowbro does not evolve, it's a branching evolution.
