I could write something in JavaScript that could alert you that you have messages, and if you click "OK" then it takes you to the PM section, and if you click "CANCEL" you can be on your way.

I had the text get bigger and change fonts when there was a new PM with CSS but somehow all our CSS got wiped out and the PM code went down with it, too.
