A10-OLinuXino-LIME (or crazy small computerthings)

So I saw all these people on the interwebs with Raspberry Pis, and BeagleBone Blacks, and then those few people alone in the corner with Cubieboards.

So I got mildly interested in using these to turn my regular HDTV into a smart TV, and found this: https://www.olimex.com/wiki/A10-OLinuXino-LIME

After viewing this page, you may be experiencing feelings of what. I can assure you that this whatness is normal, and in my case the what was enough to make me actually buy one of these crazy things.

I even got a box for it:

Suffice it to say, I have no idea what I'm doing right now.

So, anybody ever use a RaspBerry Pi or something like that?

So you got the Pi? What kind of lights are you using? Ever do anything amusing with them? The OLinuXinos have a large array of available modules and have an adapter for the Pi. There's everything from IR sensors to accelerometers to LEDs to GPS. I plan on buying a few strips of RGB LED lights and making them change color depending on things. Maybe they'll get brighter the darker it is. I could put them along the bottom of  invisible obstacles in the night so I stop hitting my toes on everything when I get up for sandwiches.

I use little generators that power normal lightbulbs, activated by sensors at my door, but one time i made a doorbell with it for my front door

not sure, my dad bought some at some machinery store, it's not really a generator, its more of a command activated switch
