When you go to play on newgrounds or another site, put your browser in whatever private mode they have. It's not cookies, but putting it in private mode works. If you already played on both, find another site. The game is hosted everywhere.

I played this once a long time ago, and encountered some bug where me and daughter got stuck on a white canvas and couldn't leave.

I got stuck there once. It was weird. I kept walking thinking that it was part of the game and it never ended. I must have sat there holding the right arrow key for years.
