Who's fault is this?

So, here's the thing.

I confide in someone, and them to keep this massive secret and tell them not tell anyone. The person tells the person I told them not to tell. My family finds out my secret. They accept and freak out at the person who told my secret, and no longer like the person.

Is it my fault that she told the secret? Is it my fault all my family and friends hate her now?

As Satan, Supreme Overlord of Hell, I can confirm that it's easy to get people to not tell your secrets if you just threaten to send them to the Underworld of Fire if they do not obey your command. Though, I guess it would not be so easy for you since you are not a supreme overlord. Too bad for you weakling. Either way, do that next time.
