If we didn't have the law we'd end up with something similar that movie, The Purge. No, thanks, I'll keep my law, even if it is imperfect. As long as it's just imperfect (like everything else on the planet) and not corrupt, I can live with it.

I don't think it would be quite like The Purge, but there would be problems. Some laws are bad, but the law as a whole is not pointless.

According to this, devon isn't even a city or town.
According to wikipedia, devon is a neighborhood. I don't think neighborhoods can establish their own laws. Maybe there's a homeowner's association there with an odd sense of humor.

I can't find anything against the one about showering naked in Florida but if it is a thing then it never has been and never will be enforced so whatever.

Also:

In West Germany it's illegal to pour beer on the big toe of your left foot after 2 AM and before 6AM. I don't know how that came to be a law but I swear it's true.

I don't have a problem with the law we have here, but the Ten Commandments are stupid. Really? "Thou shalt have any other gods before me?" What about I, Satan, Supreme Overlord of Hell? I was your greatest angel, but you decided to punish Me and bring Me to Hell. Or, something like that. I forgot how the story went.
