I noticed something a while back.  Every palindrome has what I call an 'anchor', or a letter or letters in the exact middle of the word.  I bolded them in the examples above.  Then, going backwards each way, the letters are the same.

That's how a palindrome works. I always use that to check if it's a real palindrome. sprite11
