Also, because i'm tired right now and nobody's really done much RPing, i'm gonna try something different for this challenge. I will post here who got what items, and what correct guesses they had. It is then up to you to RP your looking for (and possibly finding) items. Also, per request, Rory can break his ankle and Kidd can find a pet of some kind. Edit: by the way, no need to ask for small things like this. I just don't want you, say, finding a tiger and killing everyone with it.

The Items

Blocking off something essential - A cooler of Ice - found by Kidd

The prize is sweet and so is its hiding place. - Vials of Citric Acid and Baking Soda - Found by Kidd (second guess)

In a lake - spray bottle/fan Two people said a well, but not quite close enough

in a clearing - parts for an a/c system I liked some man's on a mountain, but couldn't change it unfortunately

Deep below the ground, but still accessible. -Don't suppose there's a random well in the middle of the forest? If Kidd comes across one, he'll try with the well bucket.
It blends in with its natural surroundings. -A four leaf clover, perhaps?
It’s like it was a gift from the heavens. -Kidd has no idea what to make of this.
Blocking off something essential -Kidd looks for a river, specifically a dam in the river.
The prize is sweet and so is its hiding place. -Kidd hopes he doesn't have to look for a beehive, but he decides that if he comes across one, he will examine it for honey.
Soft and fuzzy like the item. -an animal? (Kidd looks for a rabbit, fox, anything?)
Deep below the ground and far less accessible -Kidd doesn't even try for this one. If it's near inaccessible, he doesn't see the point.
This’ll help you remove the root of your problems. -Kidd looks for anything that can cut down a tree, like a saw.
Hope you don’t fall! -at the tops of one of the trees. Kidd's not very athletic, but he's nimble enough to get to the top of a tree to look for an object.

Rory
Deep below the ground, but still accessible.
Rory thinks caves. He searches for small crevices and caves, and finds one. Enters and looks.
It blends in with its natural surroundings.
This makes me think camouflage and leaves. Rory looks through the leaves in an efficient manner, not leaving gaps, yet not being too slow.
It’s like it was a gift from the heavens.
Rory thinks - upwards. So he travels to the house that he and Fradeshan currently live in, and clambered to the top. He can get a small look over the top of the trees, and spots something.
It may or may not be an item. Heads towards it.
Blocking off something essential
This clue stumps Rory. He doesn't know what to make of it, so he won't waste time on it.
The prize is sweet and so is its hiding place.
Rory thinks about places, and what is considered 'sweet'. A sweet place would be a luxurious place, and he realised that a beach would be a 'sweet' place, so he continued through the hot areas, knowing that this is an island, so there's gonna be an end, and finds a beach. He starts to dig around in places and looks.
Soft and fuzzy like the item.
The main idea in his head for soft and fuzzy is a blanket, as that's soft, fuzzy, and provides a use, as a heat insulator.
Deep below the ground and far less accessible
Thinks that it involves climbing downwards, he has an ingenious idea.. It doesn't work, and he may have broke his ankle in a big fall.
Glances at paper, and it says - Hope you don’t fall! - and he thinks that these were all connected somehow.
He spots an out-of-place item through a set of caves that look tricky to get through, involving wall climbs, and goes to attempt, but instead tries to find a way around the tricky obstacles.
Continues with that.
You’ll have to catch this one.
This seems like a reference to a moving animal/being, but in his current state, he leaves it, knowing he doesn't have the agility or speed to even try.

It blends in with its natural surroundings. - It's a leaf.
It’s like it was a gift from the heavens. - It's the ability to absorb other beings, particularly animals or monsters, into your own DNA, giving you all their abilities. It also enables you to spread your DNA to other beings. Unfortunately, it's inherently unstable and will result in degradation, then death. Sephiroth is immune, though. Zach might be, too, for that matter.

Deep below the ground and far less accessible - Buried between the two trees that look like Elvis and Michael Jackson.
