Re: Important Announcement

$12 has happened. We don't get paid at all until we reach the minimum payout limit, though.

NO

DON'T click on an ad unless you are actually interested in what is being advertised and might use/buy it

It's $12 in a day. All adsense calculators estimated that we'd get $.10 in a day. While that'd get us the needed $12 a year plus enough extra to get a stupidcheap VPS, it'd take us 2 years to reach the first minimum payout. I still need a few days to give a rough ETA of when our actual first payout will be. Going by the minuscule amount of data I have to go on right now, I give an estimate of a few months.

This. Unwarranted clicks means that the hardworking people at the other end of the ads end up without any money, and it also means that we end up banned from AdSense. If you crazyclick, the only one who comes out ahead is Google, who get all the money we would have earned.

I'm looking into other advertising networks. Everything I'm reading says that Google is insanely strict and frequently ban people for no reason (so there's no reason to provoke them. I already had to contact them once about false clicks). Also, other ad networks have minimum payouts as low as $10. Depending on how fast we can generate revenue on other ad networks, we could have our own domain name in a matter of weeks or days instead of months.

Re: Important Announcement

*does a little research*
Just the first couple I came up with. Should look more indepth before doing anything.
http://www.media.net/
https://buysellads.com/
http://www.conversantmedia.com/ <- this one's a little tricky, since the terms specifically pinpoint forums and the like and need to be specifically approved in writing and all that

How about I crazyclick, get the $100, then you take all the money before google notices and ye

Well no, we'll just end up blacklisting diff and fail forums from google adsense. Still bad.
