It's not anonymous at all. Incognito mode/private browsing just eliminates a lot of convenience from the web and makes a few websites forget you. It doesn't stop anyone from tracking you if they feel like it. If you want that, go use Tor.

Incognito mode knows this and says that before using it. I just use it to keep it anonymous from other people using this computer.
