Werewolf 1 - Witch Hunt

Okay, this is a little game I like to call werewolf. On one of the other forums I go on, it's played almost constantly. Because I'm bringing the game over from there, I also brought a few of the roles I saw over there with me.

If any of you have played Mafia or Murderer, this is like that. You sign up, people get roles, each night somebody gets killed by the werewolves, and each day the townspeople lynch someone they think is a werewolf. The wolves' goal is to kill all the townspeople. The townspeople's goal is to lynch all the werewolves without dying. Sound like fun?

General Werewolf Rules:
1. Don't discuss gamestuff outside the thread, including in PMs, unless I say you can in your rolecard.
2. You can say your role, but you can't quote word for word.
3. No talking in the thread during night phases.
4. Vote inside the thread like VOTE: Username
5. You may unvote.


Witch Hunt-specific Rules:
1. Wolves can work as a team, or try to win it for themselves.
2. First wolf to PM me a name to kill at night gets to pick.
3. No talking when dead. You are allowed one nonspoiler last words post.
4. You don't need a majority vote to lynch. The person/nolynch with the highest votes will be lynched. If it's a tie, a coin flip will decide.
5. It takes 2 hits to kill. Most of the time.

If you manage to fulfill one of your wincons, you get a prize.

Townie prize:
30 fails per person.

Werewolf prize:
80 fails split up between each surviving wolf.

Indie prize:
30 fails per person.

The game will start in 3 days if there are enough signups.

Not sure what you mean. You're allowed to paraphrase your roles, but not copy word for word. I will announce roles on death.

This is a role madness game. Everyone gets a role, and (almost) nobody has a useless role.

It's not complicated. The reason I said that is because (in this round, anyway) everyone has a role, and there may or may not be any useless roles depending on how the dice fall in 2 more days. Gameplay-wise, it's pretty much the same.

If anyone else wants to join in, now's the time. The game starts tomorrow after everyone confirms that they've received their role. I'll be sending out roles shortly after I balance a few things out. As it is, the scum team has a bit of an advantage. I thought about including items to try and balance it out, but scrapped the idea since that didn't really help and complicated things unnecessarily. Tweaking abilities a bit by specifying when they can be used helped a little, but what will really help is another player to add to the town. If we can get 2 more players, then we can get a nice solid game going here. However things turn out, I expect this to be a nice, basic game of Werewolf/Mafia/Survivor/Gamething.

If all the current players could confirm that they've received their roles, that'd be great. And there's still time for people to join if they want to.

You sure? This isn't like IRC mafia. It's not a crazyhouse here. Days and nights last a full day each. We have civilized discussions about who to murder, and there are several roles with information gathering abilities.

If you fulfill any of your win conditions, then you win.

Also, @everyone,
if an ability says once per night, then you can only use it at night. If it says once per day/night, you can use it whenever.

And there were some typos and blanks that got left in on some of the PMs. I had to edit the database to fix it, but the PMs are now all updated with correct information.
