Dad's laptop

So yesterday I was going along, living my life, when suddenly my dad's laptop BSODs. No problem, it does that sometimes. I blame Windows 7.

So he turns it back on. And it says something about a HDD read error and suggests hitting Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart. So he does, and the same thing happens. So I'm all like "ocrap dis aint gud" and I pull out my handy dandy USB thing with linux.

Plug that sucker in.

Boot that sucker up.

Stare that sucker down.

And, I can see all his files.

So I'm all like "Okay then, this just some weird bootthing problem and everything's fine. But I decide to make sure. I check out that SMART stuff, and there's no problems. SMART says the HDD is healthy. So I'm all like okay, time to start copyin'.

So I start copyin'.

And then I stop copyin'.

Because HDD srsly died this time. So ded. Like, the computer won't even recognize its existence ded.

And I'm all like ooooooh no. And then I'm all like oooooooh my. Anyway that's how my life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute

Is fine. We just pay some professional with a lab and a huge wallet the 00ber low price of at least $700 to fix it and we're good to go.

My dad's one's screen won't turn on, but the main body will is that better or wurst, btw I don't like german sausage jokes but meeheheemehe

is better. You just need to plug in a new screen. This laptop be toast and everything on it toast.

i use dual screens on pc but bimps vga my second monitor sucks so i never use it. but now i have to unplug dvi whenever i want to start then use my seoncd monitor to start up pc and hten switch monitors to dvi and i dont know how to fix it but i dont care sincei have left my pc on for more than a fortnight multiple times i hate you all

I sometimes dual monitor switch from my VGA monitor to my HDTV to game. Is nice.
