Google already stalks everybody using Chrome, Google Now, Gmail, Google Maps, and pretty much anything "Google", but now it's putting all that stalker info to "good" use.
Google Now, which is Google's equivalent of Siri but less conversational and more useful, will check up on your browsing history, and if it sees that you appear to be looking for something, it'll pop up relevant links that you might have missed on your phone later on. Since I only use Chrome at school, and I research schoolstuff at school, it's a nice, stalkish helping hand to find useful resources.
It also reads through every gmail you get and will offer to put any events it finds onto your calendar for you.
It probably does other stuff, too.

Google is watching.

OK, I think I need to get off GOOGLE CHROME IS A BOTNET and switch from Gmail. This is starting to creep me out.

As long as you don't log into google, you're fine. It'd be pointless because they can't reliably track you.
