Reaping:

Since I'll probrably be killed if I don't show, I go to the reaping all slow-like. I see my dad in a corner shaking and weeping, probably over some plant that got overyurned or something. I stuff myself into the 15-year-olds.

I'm not paying attention until someone's name is called and everyone's staring at me. The reaper looks at me and says again, "Chris Gray." I'm in such shock that my eyes aren't blinking. I've only entered 9 times, 3 years plus tesserae for me and dad... But slowly I walk up and take my place. When my dad looks up and sees me there, he breaks down in utter weeping and screaming. I'm tempted to go get him up, but I know I'll see him later.
the rest of the evening, I'm not even listening.

Goodbyes:
My dad goes first. He seems to have manned up for me. He says, "Chris... Just don't die. Please." I tell him I won't, and we man-hug, and he leaves. I hear weeping as soon as the door shuts.

My only friend Katrina comes next. I say, "Bye. I'll see you after I win." She says, " Come back in one piece, okay?" Then, suddenly, we lean in to eachother and have a short but slow kiss. when she leaves, I think to myself, "What?"

Apparantly, they're not the only ones who want to say goodbye. That night, my mom comes to me in a dream. "Honey, don't worry. You'll do fine."

My cold, lifeless body burns to a crisp. Some girl in the shower tries to put the fire out with the water from the shower.

The train is about 3 quarters melting.

(no train on fire, ice flower you can't die or get off the train, ultrasuperdude, your district token has to be a thing.)

as the sun rises on the train, it begins to near the capitol. you can see the tallest buildings in the distance.

"I can see the capitol!" i say as i look out the window.

(btw you can make alliances whenever if you want to. i'm gonna drive back today, so i will be on later.)

The train mysteriously has the fire stopped and Ice Flower wakes up (All because of the rules )

I run to the window and see the Capitol. I always expected it to be a horrible place but it turns out to be more beautiful than I could imagine.

My new district token is a seed, it reminds me that there is a start to everything.
I see the capitol, it was beautiful and ugly. It was beautiful because it had strong big buildings and there seemed nothing wrong with it. It was ugly because with out us districts, the capitol would be nothing.
As I walk out everyone looks at me like I was a zoo animal. I hated this place.

The capital was big and industrial. Reminds me of District 3 except prettier.

the capitol guards escort us to our stylists to get us ready for the opening ceremonies. they knock out all of the tributes hitting each other so no trouble came.

the head game maker was sitting in a room with a monitor, watching the tributes. "how can these people not get your not allowed to hurt other tributes before the games. i will have to make the arena especially fun." she turns her attention back to the monitor, where her favorite show, district pranks was on.

(ugh... artemis resigned,guess she can be a bloodbath tribute. who has read the books before who wants to be a GM?)

a capitol attendant finds ice and tranquilizes him. he then brings him to the head game maker who tells his stylist to make sure his outfit gets no sponsors.
