A lot of the stuff I make here ends up getting put into a mod so that others can do the same thing easier.

Yeah, back when I wasn't very good at PHP I made a mod and put it on there… I don't want to think about it.

When I was browsing through every mod on there I think I saw your name. Weird, it's not there now. What was the mod you made?

It doesn't look that bad. The only problem I see with it is Mac files everywhere, messed up tabs in the readme that display as Ê, uninformative errors, and the fact that Meredith is using the plugin on eeforumify.com but changed it to look like she made it. She does that a lot.

Huh, your mod is the only one that Meredith seems to have claimed that she made. All the others have no attribution to their actual owners, but none to Meredith, either.

It looks the same, and the wording on most things is the same:

You can add new tags and edit existing ones. For a brief instruction on how to:
In the name column put the name of the bbcode e.g for [ center] you would put center into it.
In the value column, you put either 1 or 2. If you put 1, it is a tag of the form [foo]foo1[/foo]. If you put 2, it is a tag of the form [foo=foo1]foo2[/foo].
In the output column, you put the html output of you bbcode. Following the above example, foo1 would be $1 for use in the output, and foo2 would be $2.
To add a new one, simply edit the values in the row with the name "New".

From your language file:

'instruct1' => 'Here you can add new tags and edit existing ones. For a brief instruction on how to:',

I've highlighted noteworthy similarities in bold. In particular, look at the "For a brief instruction on how to:". It makes it seem like what is to come is a list of things that you can do, while in actuality what follows the instructions themselves. Such wording cannot be coincidence.

No, I suppose it probably wouldn't, it just seems surprising to me that someone would use my past self's terrible PHP for anything.

If it's that bad then fix it up and reupload. There aren't any other custom BBCode mods in the repository.
